Pilot: Jay "Jet Boy" Smullen

Jay is one of the Founder's of the Bar-Stormers and hails from Stuart Florida. Jet Boy likes to slam the throttle through the firewall and leave it there until the fuel runs out! A serious drain on the Nation's jet fuel reserves, Jet Boy flies anything he can get his hands on but prefers to fly the loud "pointy" type of model hence his nickname - Jet Boy.

Pilot: "Kernal Corndawg" Thomas

Jamie from Stuart is a true competitor. He also likes
to get kids interested in the sport. Look for him in the
winners circle soon!

Pilot: "The DOM" Bechtold

Len is from West Palm Beach but he often seen
protecting the skies over South Florida in his P-51.
If he is not protecting the skies he us usually
protecting his bar stool from bogeys.

Pilot: "Father" Wright

Rob is from Indiantown and hopes to have R/C jet field
in his backyard soon so he can get to fly his jets more often.
We are praying that will happen very soon..

Pilot: "Captain" Kalil

Sean is from Palm City and is one of the founders.

Sean is a rock star. Lately he spends more of his
time flying high on his guitar than his jets.

Pilot: "Nuke" Frehafer

Ken is from Palm City and loves both 3d planes
and helis.

Pilot: Mark "Wing Nut" Rufo

Mark runs wild in Stuart Florida and is one of the founders of the Bar-Stormers. Mark has earned his nickname through flights, maneuvers and "other" aerial feats, and some on the ground feats as well) that would make other pilots fear the skies but he doesn't.

Pilot: Patrick "Dude" McCurry

Pat comes from Palm Beach Florida, just south of Stuart and is also one of the founding members of the Bar-Stormers. This Dude like to fly jets and warbirds and is always up for a "Flight".

Pilot: "Crash" Bardeau

Dave likes both wirleygigs and airplanes. Dave
is always at the airport but whenever we storm
the bars Dave will always have your six!

Pilot: "The Hunter" Sheckells

Hunter is a charter member and learned to fly
before he was out of diapers. He is still a
designated pilot but he can hold his own on
a bar stool.

Pilots: "Bear" Werner & "Ace Smullen

Logan and John were from Palm City but have left Dodge.

Bear and Ace have more stool time than most Bar-stormers. They can still be found holding down their designated bar
stool at many debriefings.

Pilot: Tim "Smokey" Chapman

Tim, from Stuart also, really is a . . . Fireman. Tim is also a charter member of the Bar-Stormers and is always present and accounted for at any of our sorties - a real trooper! Tim can always be counted on to be your wing man and flies a variety of models from mild to wild but we are seeing a tendency towards the "speedier" breeds! Full of wit and spirit, Tim is always on hand to catch the rest of the pilots stepping out of line and putting 'em in their place
